What is the Spark Neighbourhood? 

The Spark Neighbourhood is an exclusive community of customers we’ve invited to participate in experience, product and service testing, surveys, polls, and forums. Members have the opportunity to share their opinions and influence the experiences, products and services Spark offer their customers. 

Who is welcome in the Spark Neighbourhood? 

All Spark customers are welcome to join the conversation. Current members have all agreed to take part by completing a short survey. If you would like to join, please contact us at hello@sparkneighbourhood.co.nz.

What are the benefits of being a member of the Spark Neighbourhood?

What are the requirements to join the Spark Neighbourhood?

There is no minimum requirement to be a member. As long as you are interested in sharing your opinions, answering questions and testing the experiences, products, and services Spark offers we'd love to have you. If you can spend a few minutes every month taking part in discussions and answering a few surveys and are willing to share with us how you use technology, we are keen to hear your views. 

How many ‘Your Ideas’ discussions do I have to participate in?

As many as you like - there is no minimum and no discussions are mandatory. This is our favourite way to hear from you because you have more of a chance to explain yourself and we can have more of a chat. We will ask as many questions as we have, and you can also start your own discussion if you want to ask your fellow Spark Neighbourhood members anything or share your ideas 

How do I participate in a ‘Your Ideas’ discussion? 

You can find the discussions if you click here. You can either Create your own discussion if you click the 'Create' button or read an existing one in the list. If you have something to add click reply and fire away. You can comment on someone else's reply and build the conversation from there. 

How do I redeem rewards? 

To be able to redeem rewards, you need to have earned enough rewards points. You can check your points on the rewards page. If you have earned enough rewards points, the rewards will become available for you to click on. Simply follow the instructions from there!

How many surveys do I have to complete? 

As many as you like - there is no minimum and no surveys are mandatory but we certainly encourage you to take part in as many surveys as you are invited to take. The more you participate the more rewards you get. 

How do I complete a survey? 

The quickest way to complete a survey is to click here to see what surveys are available for you. You will also be emailed directly with a unique link each time there is a new survey. Simply click the link in the email and you'll go straight to it or copy the URL and paste it into your web browser. We make sure each survey is short and sweet too so you don't have to take too long answering them. 

How long will I have to complete each survey? 

You will typically have anywhere from 24 hours to one week to complete each survey. 

What happens if I unsubscribe from emails? 

If you unsubscribe from Spark Neighbourhood emails you will be deemed that you no longer wish to be a member of the Spark Neighbourhood as this is how we communicate with members. You will have three months to redeem any eligible Spark Neighbourhood reward points, after which access to the community will end and any outstanding points balanced lost.

Unfortunately, we can't help you but there is a link in our “Contact Us” page to the contact us page of the Spark website. Or just click here to go straight there. We hope they can get you sorted quickly.
